While most competing full-size pickups offer a wide range of powertrains, the 2008 Nissan Titan comes only with a large, 5.6L V8. As such, for people who want or need V8 power but with a limited budget, the more affordable XE and SE models are especially attractive for their value.
Otherwise, the Titan is impressive for its tow ratings up to 9,500 pounds, which Nissan says is comparable to heavy-duty 3/4-ton trucks.
